As a Senior Consultant in Integrated Bank Management / Risk Controlling / Risk Management (m/f/d), you will work on challenging projects with renowned banks and financial institutions. Your focus will be on strategic integrated bank management, implementing regulatory requirements (e.g., CRR, MaRisk, IRRBB, ESG), and data-driven analyses to support decision-making.
You will apply your experience strategically, take responsibility in complex projects, and develop practical, sustainable solutions for a highly regulated and evolving financial sector.
You will play a central role in our client projects, leveraging your functional, methodological, and regulatory expertise.
🧭 Consulting & Conceptualization: Develop and refine strategies, methods, and processes in integrated bank management, risk controlling, and risk management.
🏦 Responsibility in Client Projects: Actively shape projects and processes—depending on your focus, this may include business analysis, subject-matter expertise, implementation coordination, test management, or (partial) project leadership.
📜 Regulatory Expertise: Advise on and implement regulatory requirements such as CRD, CRR, MaRisk, IRRBB, and ESG — from analysis to design to implementation.
📊 Data-Driven Solutions: Analyze, evaluate, and prepare banking data to provide well-founded decision support.
💻 Tools & Technologies: Utilize Excel/VBA, Access, SQL, Python, or R to develop practical, data-based solutions.
🤝 Knowledge & Quality: Support Junior Consultants and actively contribute to team knowledge transfer.

What You Bring – Experience Meets Advisory Expertise
🎓 Academic Background & Relevant Experience: Completed degree with a focus on banking (e.g., mathematics, economics, computer science, engineering) as well as several years of professional experience in a banking or consulting environment—ideally in risk management or bank controlling.
🧠 Analytical & Regulatory Expertise: Ability to structure and analyze complex quantitative, technical, and regulatory requirements and translate them into practical, implementable solutions.
💡 Consulting Mindset & Ownership: Strong initiative, independent working style, resilience, and a keen interest in quantitative analyses as well as regulatory and strategic banking topics.
🤝 Communication & Team Skills: Professional presence in client environments, strong team orientation, and excellent German and English language skills.
🖥️ Affinity for Technology & Flexibility: Solid knowledge of Excel/VBA, Access, SQL, or comparable tools, along with project-related willingness to travel within Germany and to Luxembourg.
